Bobby the Boozer, the Prince of Rats as he is known throughout Valon. Actually he is half orc from his mothers side. Joccians admit he resembles the orc in his blood more than not, but all agree he is the life of the party. Bobby, in his youthful day was said to be one of the greatest officers and tacticians ever to come out of Joccia,
Now many years and many bottles later, the prince, though still a good officer when he's sober tends to lean more towards assisting generals in an advisory role rather than be fully responsible for troops. Bobby does however enjoy tipping a bottle and leading fellow rats on daring raids into Elven territory.
Flintloque Rules:
If a player decides to add Bobby the Boozer to his forces in Flintloque then he can be quite useful but also a real liability!
Once a brawling mate of none other than Angus McBam himself Bobby is handy in a fight; even now that he is past his prime. When fielding Bobby you must make use of ‘D&A 1 The Demon Drinke’ and at the start of every Turn Bobby must roll on the ‘Tipple Table’ to see if he is capable of action (apply all relevant modifiers and assume he always has booze in hand).
Bobby is a Half Orc (Joccian) of Experienced / Regular status armed with a lit cigar and a bottle of booze which he may light and throw like an Elf Fyre grenade. He also has an Orc Artillerie pistol in his sporran. With his special rules and mount he costs 47 Points.
His cow, ‘Bevvy’ is well used to his antics and will simply stand still if he is dead drunk atop her. If he is unconscious and within 20cm of an enemy his cow will move towards the nearest friendly character. Bobby cannot fall off his cow as he straps himself on every morning.
Bobby is immune to all morale checks and due to his constant swearing and vomiting due to the drink he makes all enemies suffer a single negative column shift for firing if they aim at him or any miniature within 15cm of him.
Slaughterloo Rules:
BOBBY THE BOOZER (SPECIAL) (150 POINTS)
Before fielding Bobby as an advisor in Slaughterloo a few rolls must be made to determine his status on the day of battle. First identify which division Bobby will be attached to then roll 2D6, add the total and multiply by 10. This is what it will cost your commander in points to have Bobby in the field. Next roll 1D6, if a 1 or a 2 is rolled then Bobby arrives at his post Stone Faced Drunk!! Bobby will perform his duties as best he can irregardless of his level of intoxication.
General Cards: Deal Bobby 8 general cards at the start of the game before anyone else has received cards. The cards can be played in any way he sees fit on any unit in the game in the normal manner following the restrictions on general cards. If Bobby receives Command Indecision cards he may hold these and play them on enemy units within his command radius. Enemy officers may counter this with a Quick Thinker card. A general whom has Bobby attached to his division may draw and maintain one extra card as long as Bobby is with 60 cm. A general in base to base contact with Bobby may also swap any or all of the cards in his hand with cards from Bobby's hand. Bobby must play his cards wisely as he receives no further cards in the game.
Movement and Command: Bobby moves 45cm at the top of the turn as a standard general, however his command radius is 60cm due to his command experience. If in base to base contact with an allied general(not the C&C), their command radius is also 60cm.
Intoxicated: If you have the misfortune of being the commander that has paid for a drunk half-rat advisor then apply the following. At the top of every turn when Bobby's division is activated roll a D6, on a roll of 1 Bobby has fallen off of his mount and must spend the entire turn re-mounting. If Bobby has fallen he may do nothing else. (cannot issue order cards) Any units receiving orders from a drunk Bobby roll a D6, ( aside from any other rolls made for receiving orders) on a 1 or 2 the order is too difficult to read and is ignored.
Bobby may only issue 1 order card per turn when intoxicated.
